Just moments after clearing the scene on North Preston Highway, Preston 911 alerts the crew of a reported structure fire in the Hudson area. Due to the limited staffing in the daytime and the extreme heat of the day, additional resources were requested from Company 1 (Albright) and Company 5 (Kingwood). Engine 318 arrives first and reports that the structure was half involved with fire coming thru the roof, Engine 320 arrives second and initiates an attack using two 1-3/4 CAFS lines. the fire was brought under control in about an hour. EMS crews were kept busy monitoring the firefighters for heat related issues, and there were no injuries on scene. A Special thank you to Station Three for "Looking out for us" and to all our brothers at Albright and Kingwood, BE SAFE!
